NEW! WAIVER WIRE WINDOWS & PROCESSING

Based on our voting at the end of last season, this year we will enable a waiver wire.  Waivers will only be accepted from the first game of the week thru midnight (EST) Wednesday.  At that point waivers will be approved based on the following criteria:

• worst winning percentage first

• fewest total points scored next

• worst divisional winning percentage last

This means that teams in worst need of free agency help will have first cut at the waiver wire.  If more than one team attempt to claim a waiver, the player will be accepted according to the criteria above.  Waivers AFTER Wednesday midnight will not be accepted.

PAYMENTS ARE DUE BEFORE DRAFT BEGINS ON AUGUST FIRST.  To pay your fees, you should have set up a PayPal account and use the Pay Now buttons on the left navigation bar.  If you have any difficulties or questions you can always reach me at ted@theworldleague.com.

It's almost football time, again.  The summer heat is shutting down power plants across the west coast, training camps are in full swing and final NFL roster cuts have been made.  It's time to get your prognostication skills up to snuff...is Culpepper destined for more greatness...can San Diego find a running game...will a San Francisco passing attack without Jerry Rice be the same....

To get ready for football, you will be able to find a great deal of new information here at the revised World League Scoreboard.  In addition to using automated internet software to run the league (as we did last year...to great fanfare).  Also, we will be featuring links and resources to give you a head start on determining your keepers, flushing out the ranks of the top RB's this year, and giving you lots of ways to get a 'leg up' on your competition.  Only problem is that your competition will probably be using the same resources ... but that's why you get paid the big bucks, to make the tough calls.
