Tomes Of History
The World League
of American Fantasy Football (originally known as the WLAFF) was born
when yer Commish (Ted Huffman)
relocated to London England in 1996. Before 1996, the World League
wasn't in existence, however yer Commish has been pounding his head
against the fruitless wall of fantasy football failure since the early
days of CompuServe Head-To-Head football in 1991.
Since our founding,
the World League has prided itself on having a very broad appeal to
both ex-pats, US dwellers, and citizens from foreign soil who may never
have seen a live football game. With a very large returning owner
base (usually there is only a 1 or 2 person turnover each season), and
with owners hailing from the United Kingdom, Guam, Saudi Arabia, and
all over the United States - we have one of the strongest 'international'
participation in fantasy football.
